STEM Summer Camp

We are big fans of the Stem Club team and program! Our 10 year old son has never been more motivated with math work - teachers make it fun and competitive in a healthy and caring way. Thank you all.

We love NYC STEM! This is year 2 for us and my daughter is doing better in school, has more confidence and did really well on her state testing. The team is steady and thoughtful and gives an individualized approach.

My wife and I would like to give a huge shout out to NYC Stem Club. The experts at NYC Stem Club helped my son master each step of the college essay writing process and learn to craft a memorable submission that stood the test of admission counselors. Rukmini and Grace took the time to sit with my son and listen to what he wanted to write in his essay. Grace was grace personified as she gently nudged my son into penning his ideas, taking the time to go in-depth into each one and crafting that in his essay. The dedication in this process was mind blowing. He learned to conceptualize, refine and edit his essays to stand out amongst very noteworthy students applying for colleges. Both Rukmini and Grace are dedicated and know exactly what colleges want to see in an essay and they have the unique talent of bringing the best out of kids' essay. With NYC Stem's guidance my son got accepted into all the 10 colleges that he applied to, and we are forever grateful to them.

NYC STEM was an important part of my son’s academic life since he was in second grade. NYC STEM is not just a tutoring and test prep service, but it is rather a comprehensive enrichment program that instills deep knowledge and conceptual understanding of the topics that are only superficially covered in public schools’ curriculum. Most recently, my son attended SHSAT prep course which helped him successfully pass the exam and he got an offer from Stuyvesant!

My children have been going to NYC Stem for many years and I honestly can’t say enough good things about their classes and their teachers! The classes are at the right level of challenging and the teachers are incredibly supportive! I also love the fact that Rukmini was able to tailor the classes and experience for the students, if possible. When my math-loving son started, NYC Stem didn’t have an appropriate class for him; Rukmini put one together. When my then-rising 8th grade daughter couldn’t do the summer test prep courses given her summer golf schedule, Rukmini customized a test prep schedule that absolutely worked for us. I am very happy to say that my daughter received multiple offers - including from our first choice private school as well as from our first choice specialized public high school! Thank you, Rukmini and NYC Stem, for the amazing work that you do with our children!!

I can not give enough praise to NYC Stem Club. The teachers are so helpful and caring. They give individual attention to each student and really care about each child’s progress, which translates into great results.

My daughter attended the summer and fall prep for 2023 shsat and loved it! She got into her top choice of highschool - Bronx Science and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Big Thanks to Rukmani and her team of amazing teachers!

Our son attended NYC stem club for a few classes and more than a few exams for the shsat exam. Rukmini and the teachers (grace in our case) understood my son very well after the first meeting itself and helped him immensely with the ela part of the test. I'm sure they would have done the same with the math too, had it been necessary. I'm not sure when the usual prep begins but it will be good to check with them early in the summer so that you have about 4 to 5 months before the exam.
