Lower ISEE Prep

Lower ISEE Test Prep for Middle School Admission to Private Schools.
The Lower-Level Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is a common standardized test that prestigious independent and boarding schools require for admission to middle schools.  Taken typically in 4th and 5th grade this test has five sections:  Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement and an Essay. A copy of the essay is sent to each school you are applying to and does not factor into the overall test score. Our comprehensive ISEE Lower-Level program focuses on building a solid foundation in core subjects—enhancing critical reading skills, mastering vocabulary through root-word proficiency, and reinforcing fundamental math concepts. Prioritizing content mastery precedes strategic test preparation, allowing students to confidently tackle the exam. Before suggesting the ideal learning approach, whether through group sessions or private tutoring, we advocate for a mock test. This insightful step pinpoints individual strengths and weaknesses, shaping a personalized strategy for success. To ensure a comfortable ramp-up to the official test, we recommend a diagnostic session in Fall or Winter.
