Students will learn beginner computer programming concepts using Scratch (a MIT Media Lab software). Scratch provides students with an environment to create interactive art, tell stories, create animations and build games. The main objective of this course is to empower students to express their ideas, think logically, reason systematically, work collaboratively and most importantly to spark their curiosity and creativity. The course will encourage students to analyze problems, deconstruct them into simpler parts, and then assemble the solution to solve the original problem.
