Elana, a magna cum laude graduate from Brown University, holds dual degrees in Health and Human Biology and Contemplative Studies. Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa for her academic excellence, she's a versatile educator skilled in teaching K-12 through college-level math and sciences. With a background as a middle school teacher and test prep instructor, Elana brings a wealth of experience to NYC STEM Club. Her teaching philosophy focuses on inspiring curiosity, creativity, and conceptual understanding, making her an ideal mentor for students preparing for academic challenges.
Evan was valedictorian at the High School of American Studies at Lehman College, graduate from Johns Hopkins University with specialization in applied mathematics and statistics, and with an M.B.A. New York University’s Stern School of Business
George graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Syracuse University and was part of the Renee Crown Honors program. Alongside achieving multiple departmental awards, he boasts over ten years of teaching experience in both Math and Chemistry.
Edriona Stroud, an alumna of Fordham University, holds a Bachelor's degree in English and History. Engaged in her community, she represented her school at political forums and received numerous accolades for academic perseverance and achievement. Serving as an instructor for entrance exams such as TACHS, HSPT, ISEE, SHSAT, and state exams, Edriona also teaches ELA for elementary and middle grades, along with high school exploratory writing. Additionally, Edriona has a background in Theatre Arts and experience in choreography and poetry performance
Connor earned his B.A. in English Literature and Language from Winthrop University, followed by an M.S. in Publishing from New York University’s School of Professional Studies. He is currently enrolled in City College’s M.F.A. in Creative Writing program.
Lauren graduated Cum Laude from Duke University, holding a B.A. in Environmental Science & Policy and Cultural Anthropology. Additionally, she was a distinguished member of Duke's highly selective Alice M. Baldwin Scholars women’s leadership program.
